Another opening/Books I'm Reading

Hey everyone! (Or...nobody...I doubt there are people reading this..)

Here is another opening to another story I'm currentley writing.


Gone are the days of laughter. Gone are the nights of sleeping well. Welcome to the world of darkness, the world of secrets. The world of hunting. Goodbye to the day, and welcome to the night. For this is my story.

It all started the day I got lost. In a forest. At night. Big mistake, I know, yada yada yada. Save the worry for someone else. I'm on a mission. To save the world. Well, my world, anyway. Anyway, I got lost in the forest, and something..captured me. Don't freak out, he's become one of my best friends, actually. My sidekick. So, yeah, he took me. Of course, I was screaming bloody mary at first, but when we actually got to know each other..he became..well, he became something. That's for sure. He helped me recover. From what, I don't know. But I sure feel different. Better, but more stressed. Definitly more stressed. I should probably explain.

Yeah, that was it.

The Historian by (I can't remember...)

I am SO excited to see The Dark Knight this Friday! Seriously, I cannot wait!!

Tale of the Sea

Preface- Nightmare
He pounced on me like a wolf. I couldn't let out a breath, let alone a scream. I was trapped in his eyes, his fierce, evil eyes. He pinned me to the stone wall, hands gripped firmly around my neck. I was hopeless, my life was about to end. How could it be? This was completely unfathamable. Nothing in the world could prepare me for the pain I was about to endure. I closed my eyes tightly, not wanting him to be the last memory before I passed. I thought of Jack. Sweet, sweet Jack. I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to him. I was fading. Fading into the darkness. Everything started to slip away. I tried to grab on as memories flew by me. I was dying. As I was about to fall to the ground, lifeless, I woke up.

Stories I'm working on currentley

Well, I've started, like, ten different stories, but am only focusing on two as of now. One is currentley untitled, but here's the plot:

A fifteen year old girl, Ella, is sick of living with her strict, uptight mother in Houston, Texas, and decides to live with her calm, laid-back Aunt Sara in Nantucket, Massachusetts, an island. While there she really finds herself, and discovers the truth about her family. The most important fact she finds out is, "what happened to her father?". The truth is...he's actually a merman. Ella is hald-mermaid, meaning she can alter bewteen the earth and the sea. But what happens when a dark underwater force starts stalking her, and ultimately...forces her to chose one world to live in. Forever.

The other is the young adult genre, and is called AUDITION.

It's about a teenager, Jack, who is accepted into a musical theatre academy. It's basically his journal, and he's telling about his life and his experience at the institute.

Both sound promising to me, and I'll post snippets of both of them tomorrow.
